Season 1    Episode  9      This is a message I preached this past Sunday concerning the critical vital need of prayer in our personal life, our home life, our church life in our married life -- in all aspects of life.    

In order for mom and dad to be heirs together of the grace of life in parenting it is critical to to understand the points of this message.     1 Peter 3:7      Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them [your wife] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. God gives grace to the Father and God gives grace to the Mother in parenting.  In the home when God gives grace (to father and mother) He is giving the desire to do His will and the power to do His will.  Parents are equipped in the parenting and shepherding of their children by the divine enabling of grace. Grace parenting is vitally linked to the constancy of praying.     

 Psalm 127:1     Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 

 Through prayer we cooperate with God in the house (family) He is building by His power and divine enabling. The house must be built by God, hence there must be the constancy of praying to God.  Parents need wisdom from above in the daily parenting.   situations that arise.  James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Each one of these qualities is essential in parenting.  How is it that we are to have this wisdom and these qualities?   James 1:5     If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 

The key to Parenting Wisdom is praying.
