For as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become God's children. The greatest thing that can happen to any man is to be a child of God. Man can become God's child by simply believing in Jesus Christ. Christianity is a relationship between God the Father and His Children. God takes the role as a Father and we take the position as children.
