Based on Luke 23:26–34, ‘Father, Forgive Them’ calls believers in Christ to reflect on one of the most important prayers ever spoken. This message explores the heart of Jesus in the midst of suffering and reveals why forgiveness stands at the centre of the Christian faith. We consider why Jesus prayed this prayer, how forgiveness runs through Scripture, and why it remains one of the hardest yet most life-giving calls for believers today. It is my prayer that as we reflect on God’s grace, God’s mercy, and the transforming power of forgiveness, may find that personal grace to live out the life of Christ in our own space..
