Suffering may be the hardest mystery to understand in all of Christianity. The secular world loves to ask believers the question, If there is a loving God how can he allow so much pain and suffering in the world? I must admit, I have asked myself that question at times as well. I have even stood on the side of a mountain yelling at God asking him how much more do You think I can take? We all suffer sadness, no one is immune to it. This episode is important to listen to and equally important to share. I hope you will pass this episode on to someone that may need to hear it. I want to thank my friend Fr. Skip Thompson for sharing his story on suffering and the wisdom gained when in the midst of his tragedy he raised his sights to God.
