When I was a young boy, my father passed away. It was devastating, of course, but before my dad died, He told my sisters and me about Jesus. Before his death, he said, “I am going to be with Jesus, which is better by far." Because my dad shared the Good News with me, I knew that I would never really be without a father, because I had THE Heavenly Father with me at all times.

In 2 Corinthians 6:18, God says, “I will be a Father to you. You will be My sons and daughters”. And it’s true! For those of us who lose our earthly fathers—or for people in the world who may not even know their dad, I cannot encourage you enough to take rest in God. He is the ultimate Father, who will never leave or forsake you. His shoulders are big enough to carry even your biggest burdens. And He loves you unconditionally and offers you eternal life in His Son, Jesus Christ.

As you hear this message, consider your inner circle. Is there anyone who doesn’t have a relationship with their dad? Or whose father has passed away? Share the Good News with them. Tell them about God, our Father, who will never, ever leave them. This is Luis Palau.
