Fatherhood is the state of being a father. I recognize that fatherhood comes in many forms and shapes. So through this month we are going to have featured men who are fathers and they will share their stories, challenges, triumphs regarding being a father and the state of being a father.

Fathers, like mothers, are pillars in the development of a child's emotional well-being. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes inner growth and strength.

Fatherhood is about showing up.
