This episode features a conversation with my guest, Ben Diaz.

Ben is a casual everyday dad who is caught between trying to be cool & dad at the same time. He is married for six years to his lovely wife, Yaritza, who reminds him-sometimes-it's not possible to be both. Then there is the little person who calls him "daddy", their 3-year-old girl, Mila. Ben is living his dream of being a husband to a queen and dad to a princess, but it wasn't without some trying moments on his journey to fatherhood.

In this conversation Ben talks about dealing with the loss of his wife's first pregnancy, and the decision that helped set themselves up to be supported during their second go around. We also talk about perspectives he's gained about his childhood and relationship with his father now being a dad. Finally, Ben shares from the heart what he hopes the world would be like for his little girl, as well as words to inspire other #girladads to current and to be.
