Almost a quarter of U.S. children under 18 (23%) live with one parent and no other adults. In many of those homes, children are being raised by a single mother with no father figure represented. With the lack of fatherly representation in the home, children who turn into adults find it hard to trust and believe that a God truly can love unconditionally and care for them. In this episode, I use the movie "The Little Mermaid" to shed some truth about God's love, our sinful nature, and the redemptive work that came with Jesus' willingness to take on sin for you and me.
