Chronicles – Week 3 | What's In Your Heart?

This week, we explore Solomon's request for wisdom in 2 Chronicles 1 and discover why God was pleased with what was in his heart. Rather than seeking wealth or power, Solomon asked for Chokmah—the God-given wisdom to lead God's people in alignment with God's heart and purposes.

In 2 Chronicles 9, the Queen of Sheba witnesses God's blessing on Solomon's life and responds with praise to God. Her response reminds us that our lives are meant to point others to Christ. We are walking billboards, and the way we steward our time, talents, relationships, and families should reflect His goodness.

We also challenge every man to be both a warrior and a worshiper. Like Benaiah, who served in battle and in worship, godly men are called to protect their families, cultivate faith in their homes, and lead others toward Jesus through everyday life.
