Fatou Ceesay, owner of Carisu Homecare, says, “with Alzheimer’s you lose your loved one twice.”  Alzheimer’s disease is the 5th leading cause of death for people in the United States. In addition, the prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias is highest among African Americans.
