Today we celebrate CJ's birthday! Yes, the functional alcoholic of our show was born on St. Patrick's Day. Wow! What a strange coincidence! Surely it has nothing to do with his habits whatsoever! 

I joke, of course. We have a lot of fun in this episode by highlighting the history of St. Patrick's Day, as well as Irish cuisine and traditions. For example, did you know St. Patty's day was celebrated in Ireland much more seriously - it was a religious remembrance of the great St. Patrick, after all. It wasn't until crazy, party-hard Americans showed up on broadcast television overseas that the Irish decided we had the correct idea: to party until the sun is well beyond the horizon. 

What state parties the hardest for St. Patrick's Day? Which favorite Irish food does each state prefer? And what is the Cliffs Notes version of the tale of St. Patrick? All these questions are answered in this episode.
