The FDA and J&M Foods announce the recall of Favorite Day Lavender Shortbread Cookies.  A total of 1464 boxes were actually packed with chocolate chip cookies.  As a result, the packaging fails to list the presence of soy or egg allergens.  Those with soy or egg allergies could develop nasty allergic reactions after ingesting these chocolate chip cookies masquerading as lavender shortbread cookies.  The affected lot, BB 18Apr2023, was sold nationwide at Target stores.  If you purchased this product, contactTarget at 1-800-440-0680, or J&M Foods at 1-800-264-2278 for a refund.
