We all like to believe "If I was ever in this situation, I'd do this" We think that until we're in it! You've heard it once and you'll hear it again... hindsight is always 20/20. That couldn't be more true in my case. Looking back, I handled my divorce all wrong.. When she told me she wanted out, I fought, pleaded and begged her to stay. Guess what, that didn't make a single difference. When I think about it now, there are so many things I wish I had done differently to accept it and put that situation behind me. Male ego is a real thing. It keeps most men from wanting to feel loss or feel like their losing.. it did in my case and to protect that ego we will go to great lengths, including some of the things discussed in this episode of The Father's BluePrint.
