This sermon invites us to reflect on what it truly means to understand and surrender to God’s will for our lives. By looking at the perfect example of Jesus, we see how He willingly laid down His own desires in obedience to the Father. His ultimate surrender on the cross shows us the depth of God’s love and the life we can experience through Him. As followers of Christ, we are called to trust God’s plan and yield our lives fully to His purpose.

We will be taking a dive into Psalm 51 and learning what it means to repent. we will be learning from david who was a man after Gods heart and can teach us a lot of wisdom.

"My Praise is Powerful" reminds us that worship is more than a sonf, it's a weapon. Scripture shoes that praise shifts atmospheres, brings breakthrough, and points others to Christ. Even when circumstances don't change, our worship declares God's goodness and keeps our hopes anchored in heaven. When we choose to praise in every season, God moves in ways we could never imagine.

What if there was something so powerful it could completely change your relationship with God? That’s what prayer is—simple conversation with the Creator of the universe. Yet so many of us struggle with it: we’re busy, distracted, or unsure if it even works. In this message, we’ll see how Scripture shows that God hears and answers prayer, and we’ll be challenged to put it into practice this week. As we finish off the book of James, he leaves us with an encouraging, yet difficult reminder: To stand firm in our faith and hold fast to the truth in patience, or as many commonly call it, long suffering. James reminds us that the coming of the Lord Jesus is near, but in the meantime, we need to hold each other up in prayer and faith, not divide, but unite in one mind and one spirit! James instructs us to pray for one another, confess and if anyone goes astray, bring each other back to the place of fellowship with one another under our God. James also instructs us to act as Christ's images, telling us to bear one another up and not to swear, but to give a simple yes, or no. This Wednesday, we will dive into what James is telling the church, not only the ancient church, but our church today, and how we can, not only learn these truth, but apply it daily.

This lesson explores James 3:13-18, contrasting worldly wisdom (characterized by self-promotion and bitter jealousy) with wisdom from God (demonstrated through humble actions and peaceful behavior). It emphasizes that true wisdom is demonstrated through humble actions rather than mere knowledge and is characterized by eight key traits: being pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, merciful, fruitful, unwavering, and without hypocrisy. Wisdom from God isn't just about knowing what's right but humbly choosing to live it out.
