How do we find joy in tough times? Mainly, becuase they help us grow stronger in our faith. Tonight we'll unpack how God is good, He only gives us good things, and how there is no trial in life that is wasted.

The Bible is meant to connect us with God and transform us into the likeness of Jesus, but for this change to happen, we must trust God. Trusting God goes beyond feelings and is shown through obedience to His word, even when it challenges our own understanding or emotions. Just like watering a plant slowly leads to growth, consistently applying God's word in our lives leads to gradual but significant transformation.

God wants us to be at Peace, and has offered us a way to find Peace with His presence. However, Satan counterfeits the Peace of God & instead wants people to be anxious and filled with worry. How does Satan accomplish this? By slowly and carefully distracting God's people from the Lord and instead pointing our attention toward all kinds of other things. Tonight we'll unpack the story of Mary and see how of all people, she had reason to stress and worry....but because her attention was on the Lord (and not her situation!), she finds peace in the midst of the storm.
