Cold Mountain for FCPX? Maybe. In early 2014 news started to leak that a major Hollywood film was being cut on FCPX. Many people have said that would be the tipping point for the acceptance of Final Cut Pro X. I don’t really agree. However, Michael Matzdorff, was the assistant editor on the project and he has some great insight into the workflow and what worked well and what needs improvements in FCPX.
