The idea of going blind was not one that I wanted to face, but it was one that I had been living with. It was the idea that I was not any different than the rest of God’s creation. There is no denying that. I think that there are times when we have to give up on the things that we want and go for the things that God wants. Sometimes this is not the easiest thing in the world to handle. I was not blinded until the age of 37. I had sight without major problems until just a few short days ago.
