In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the fear of the Lord. It’s a mysterious but powerful thing to know and understand the fear of the Lord. The Bible is filled with passages referencing the topic. It took a deep dive into the word to fully grasp, but she was amazed at all that encompasses the fear of the Lord. 

The Fear of the Lord is:

  • a choice (Proverbs 1:29,30)
  • beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 9:10)
  • Keeps us from evil (Proverbs 3:7, Proverbs 16:6, Proverbs 19:23, Proverbs 23:17)
  • Hates what God hates (Proverbs 8:13)
  • To have Healing and Long Life (Proverbs 10:27,  Proverbs 14:27, Proverbs 19:23) 
  • For your children (Proverbs 14:26, Luke 1:50)
  • Provision (Proverbs 22:4, Psalm 25:12-14)
