What's the first thing that pops into your head when you think of the word "fear?" An unusual phobia that you have? Anxiety maybe? When Scripture talks about "the fear of the Lord," however, it involves a deep reverence, awe, and respect for His holiness, power, and authority. This kind of fear is actually a gift, and we need to understand why that is if we are to lived transformed lives.
