#099 Fear: Strong and Courageous

Fear is something that affects us all in one way or another, and for the person who truly desires and is learning to live a life with purpose, fear must be conquered, but to conquer it, we need to understand it. You know that when you have an enemy, before you can conquer that enemy, you need to study it, you need to know where it comes from, you need to know what makes it strong and makes it weak. And then, you can target it successfully. And so, during the last couple of episodes, we have been exploring what fear is and how it impacts our lives. To listen to this series from the beginning, go back to episode #96. I strongly suggest that you listen to all the episodes on this series, before you listen to this one, but if you can’t, at least, listen to #98, because there, you will find the foundation for today’s topic. Last time, we talked about Joshua and the fact that he was reminded he had received a divine command. Today, we are going to explore the first command, within this particular verse, which I’m going to be using in the next couple of episodes, and it is found in Joshua 1:9, which says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
