Kenny Benge preached a sermon entitled “Fear Transformed to Courage” for The Day of Pentecost on June 8, 2014. The primary effect of Pentecost—for the first disciples and us—is that it  creates a fellowship with a new and shared experience of the Gospel—this fellowship is caught up into the life of the risen Lord. In a new awareness of him and of one another they burst into praise, and they are sent into the world as bearers of this Good News.
