Fearful, Joyful, Doubtful and Still Worshiped
This chapter describes Jesus' resurrection just as He had foretold. Despite feeling fear, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were also filled with profound joy upon hearing the angel's announcement of Jesus' resurrection. This joy demonstrates the power of worship, even in the face of fear.
When Jesus met with the disciples, some were doubtful, but they still worshiped. This shows that when we are scared, we can worship too, because God understands our feelings.
Today, I encourage you to worship Jesus with fear, doubt, and great joy, just as these followers of Christ did.
