In this sermon from Ben, we see how God reveals himself to his people in his holiness so that they might learn to fear him and keep his commandments. In Exodus 20, the people plead with Moses for a mediator, and God has gloriously answered in sending the Lord Jesus Christ to be both our atoning sacrifice and the one Mediator between God and man. So how now shall we consider the fear of God and this account in Exodus in light of Christ’s atonement and mediation for us by his blood? What does it look like to fear him and offer him acceptable worship today?
