It's Movember, so we thought it would be fitting to chat to Al Green from The Man Cave about all things mental health and masculinity.
The Man Cave is an organisation that has impacted over 15,000 boys, parents and teachers across Australia. They host programs that allow young men to explore and express their full humanity. Their work has been recognised by not only major TV and news publications, but even The Royal Family.
Tom and Al chat everything from the importance of having diverse role models to how stopping domestic violence starts with teenage boys.
This episode does come with a trigger warning. The guys chat about domestic violence, mental health and more. If any of these themes may be triggering for you, we recommend skipping this episode.
From The Man Cave website:
Our Vision: a world in which every man has healthy relationships, contributes to his community and reaches his full potential.

Trigger Warning: Jem's ego takes a beating in this episode.
Jem had her first real crush at the start of 2020, but it didn't go to plan.
So, of course, we invited Jem's queer awakening onto the Fearless podcast to find out what really went down between them.
Strap yourselves in, this is a real rollercoaster.
Note: Tom & Jem are really proud to be able to facilitate these honest and vulnerable conversations and to let our audience in on the complexities of life. We want our community to be a safe space where we can discuss things that are often taboo in nature and we hope that you find comfort in some of the relatable topics we cover.
A gentle reminder that Tom & Jem are human, and despite sharing a lot in the podcast, there is always things happening privately. We hope that you understand and respect that the podcast is just a little snapshot of us and it doesn't always capture the entire picture.
Sorry everyone, Tom is off the market!
Anyway, enough click bait.
In this episode of Fearless, we chat all things diabetes, gaslighting and mourning a life you can never have.
Tom & Jem explore the lives they grieve for, but also the fine line between mourning and lusting for a life. Tom discusses the life he misses out on because of his diabetes while Jemah explains how she is frustrated that her sexual assault will forever be a part of her story.
This and plenty more in the new episode of Fearless with Tom & Jem.
Are Tom and Jem actually terrible people? In this episode Jem talks about the lesson of accountability that she learnt when she made a fool of herself on a night out and Tom talks about sneaking burgers into the bar. They discuss pooping in front of friends, posties, the power of storytelling and the victorian gag order that makes Jem a criminal. Also Tom reads a Langston Hughes poem because Tom edited this podcast so Jem can't make him cut it out.
Jem had her first ever orgasm!
After being sexually assaulted five years ago, Jem's body shut down. It linked feelings of pleasure to feelings of harm and in a subconscious act of self-protection, it stopped arousal in it's tracks.
Since then, Jem has been very vocal about sexual assault, orgasms and breaking down the stigma surrounding sex in general. She has been published in Vice, featured on Triple J and even hosted her own Quest to Cum event.
After well over a year of healing and experimentation, Jem finally did it: she gave herself her first orgasm.
Hear all about it in this episode of Fearless with Tom & Jem.
WARNING: This episode was recorded two weeks ago, so everything is irrelevant. Jemah is now single, unemployed and in therapy. Tom is still the same old stable Tom, but you get our drift. Keep this in mind while listening, and the episode gets a whole lot funnier. Ah, how quickly life can change.
For now, strap yourself in. This episode delves into identity, sliding into DM's, death and the meaning of life.
Jemah had a sex dream about Tom, so in true Fearless fashion, we talk about it for the world to hear. Parental Guidance is recommended for this episode... ah actually, if you are our parents, maybe give this one a miss.
This episode has been recorded from our brand new Fearless HQ, which means we have video content too. Follow us at @fearlessmedia_ for more.
Will Connolly gained international attention after he egged ex Aussie politician, Fraser Anning. Since then, Will has raised a load of money for charity and is working tirelessly within the mental health industry. In this episode, Tom and Jem virtually sit down with Will and discuss all things meditation, Fake IDs, his friendship with Magda Szubanski, the price of fame and of course... the egg.
