The Western Church celebrates the Apostle Bartholomew on 24th August, probably the same individual named as "Nathaniel" in the Gospel of John. We read Deuteronomy 18:15–18, Psalm 91, I Corinthians 4:9–16, and Luke 22:24–30. And we'll finish things off with Edward Henry's poem, "St Bartholomew the Apostle."
If you need it, a guide to praying with the virtual lectio can be found here.
