"It's a rip off of A Quiet Place!"...."The plot doesn't even work!"...."how can the monsters take over the world when they're that easy to kill!?!" and so on and so on *facepalm*

Listen, when you sign up for a flick like The Silence, you have to suspend disbelief, loosen your seatbelt, turn off your brain and just enjoy the ride. This new sub-genre of sensory deprived thrillers is an awesome shift despite being unbelievably predictable and cheesy. Yes, we've seen this before, but that doesn't mean it can't still be fun. We all recommend this movie, mostly because of the great Stanley Tucci, but generally because it's an easy hour and a half of entertainment. If you're craving some thriller/horror action on Netflix, and you've been browsing for 20 minutes, just commit to this one. It's good enough to get your fix, we promise. We could have very easily purchased one-way tickets to hateville, but honestly we were just feelin this one.
