A Future For Us

Featuring Suddene Stone - Are We Living in a Post-Racial Society?

Listen Later

Suddene Stone, a fellow University of Toronto student and Psychology major, is a special guest in today's episode as we talk about whether or not we are living in a "Post-racial Society". We talk about the negative connotations of living in the 21st century as a self-aware society, including political correctness, the international Black Lives Matter (BLM) Movement, and "Can Black People Be Racist?". It's easy to forget about social issues by secluding oneself in a bubble, but that doesn't make the issue go away. On the opposite end, it's easy to jump into the BLM movement and totally misinterpret allyship and support. This podcast episode will be focused on current events, personal anecdotes, and, the overall theme of my podcast, education. Enjoy.
