Scripture Reading (0:00–3:49):

Proverbs Chapter 10 (NLT)

Key Scriptures & Reflection Questions (3:50–6:06):

Proverbs 10:17 — “People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.”

Reflection Question: God, how can I learn to accept criticism and correction thoughtfully, so that I may reflect Your love and humility?

Proverbs 10:18 — “Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.”

Reflection Question: God, how can I be honest with You about the negative emotions I feel, so that I can give them over to You and be less inclined to lash out?

Prayer (6:07–7:18):

Give me, O Lord, a steadfast heart which no unworthy thought can drag down, an unconquered heart which no tribulation can wear out, an upright heart which no unworthy purpose can tempt aside. Bestow upon me understanding to know You, diligence to seek You, wisdom to find You, and faithfulness that may finally embrace You. Amen.

Prayer for a virtuous heart by Thomas Aquinas, drawn from the Book of Common Prayer.

Outro (7:19–7:50):
