In today's show I am joined by the Chair of SD73 Kathleen Karpuk to talk about the school board's plan to improve numeracy education. We also talk about the support the board is giving to a Kamloops Centre for the Arts project. The Mayor of Port McNiell comes on the show to talk about how her community of about 2,400 people has dealt with a near eight-month strike by forest industry workers. Yesterday, it was announced that a tentative deal had been reached and that news is being greeted with cautious optimism. And to end off today's show I am joined by the Chair of the Kamloops Blazers Anniversary Celebrations Norm Daley talks about what the community can expect next week when Blazers celebrate their WHL & CHL championships.
