Black history facts!
Today we will be talking about Percy Julian! Percy earned his PhD despite being rejected from Harvard due to his race! His research led to treat glaucoma and arthritis. Although his race presented challenges at every stage, he is considered one of the most successful chemists in American history. The quote of today is:“Never be limited by other people’s limited imaginations.”This was said By Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African-American female astronaut.And remember, black history is your history!
