The emergency medicine in-training exam is next week and we want to make sure you get a great score by covering 2% of the test in 30 minutes. Yes, yes, you’re welcome.

 

Now oncology is not a huge part of the exam but cancer patients are a common occurrence in the ED. Our biggest plea is that you be aware of the specific emergencies that relate to cancer and look for them. You can always phone your friendly neighborhood oncologist for help, but recognition is the first step in management.
