Illinois Governor, J-B Pritzker announced Wednesday that more than three million dollars in state funding is going towards preserving and modernizing historic Route 66 in Illinois.

The Urbana Park District is hosting a celebration for the temporary closing and revamping of the Meadowbrook playground.

Due to H-VAC issues, the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center is still closed after more than a week.

The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District has recently installed state-of-the-art solar panels on its roof to implement more renewable energy solutions for the community.
