Greg Belfrage goes over some of the controversy surrounding the Olympic athletes.  Skier, Hunter Hess, is receiving the most backlash for his statements about not being sure he wants to represent the United States with everything that is going on.  Another skier, Chris Lillis, backed this sentiment when he complained United States as well.  Trump and others pushed back asking what they are doing in the Olympics if they don't want to represent the United States. Amber Glenn faced copyright issues over one of her songs and backlash from social media for some of the political things she said about the LGBTQ+ community.
