Conventional wisdom in the United States and the European Union is that to stimulate economic growth you need to print and barrow yourself into prosperity. For some reason this is not working in the US or the EU. Maybe we should follow the advice of our grandparents when it comes to stimulus. How does this work? Simple; do what Warren Harding and calvin coolidge did. They Cut the size of the Federal Government in half and did the same with the tax rate. Our Brilliant leaders in Washington D.C. and at the Federal Reserve today, would have us believe this would lead to economic collapse. The problem is it lead to the roaring 20s the last time it was tried.
