Bad news, chooms.
“There’s a Korean word, In-yun. It’s said that it was Luffy’s In-yun to obtain the One Piece and become King of the Pirates”
WARNING: We also apologize for Bayani and Tiny's sh*tty audio. We had no idea there was an issue until we started editing.
Did you miss us?
Oddly enough, Bayani was also pulled into a theater to check out the Mamamoo concert movie and Thirdy has fallen into another gamer hole with Armored Core VI which is the Elden Ring of mecha games.
The latest FTG has Bayani and Thirdy talking about one of the most middling MCU projects ever in the form of Secret Invasion, but we also do a bit of kino talk with the latest Wes Anderson joint, Asteroid City.
“I am become Barbie, destroyer of Kens”
Barbenheimer looms this July, but Bayani and Thirdy want to close up on the last of June’s big movies including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Pixar’s Elemental. We also take a look into the first two episodes of Secret Invasion and its controversial AI opening.
Bayani returns bearing opinions for Ari Aster’s Beau is Afraid, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and The Flash. Thirdy, however, is more excited to talk about the Summer Game Fest reveals including Star Wars: Outlaws, Starfield, and Mortal Kombat 1.

Episode Details:
Bayani may not be showing up this week, but FTG has brought in a guest in the form of Thirdy’s high school buddy Czar. Before you go accusing us of nepotism (which we’re completely guilty of), Czar is a legit industry animator who has worked on huge animated films like Mitchells vs. The Machines, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the recent Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
2023 has mostly been Ls for the superhero genre, but Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse manages to take it above and beyond. In this episode, Bayani and Thirdy dissect the unique property that is the Spider-Verse and speculate on where Miles Morales story could end.
Gamers have been eating good this month with the back-to-back releases of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Thirdy gives us his first thoughts of Tears, while Bayani tears into Evil Dead Rise and his latest anime obsession, Oshi no Ko.
