Anna Mosley is the hugely inspirational and in-demand CEO & Founder of Eighty Academy
Her inspiring personal story is also a warning to all high performers and perfectionists who are at much higher risk of suffering burnout from seeking perfectionism in their work
Anna is an ex-perfectionist, a quality that may be perceived to be a strength by many. Apart from being a high performing global manager for big brands including L'Oreal, she was also working at being the perfect wife, mother, daughter and any other role or activity that came her way.
Anna shares her story of how the many demands on her from every area of life, eventually led to an inevitable breakdown and she puts this down to her need to be perfect at all of them - something had to give eventually
She found a great coach who led her to full recovery and she is now thriving at work and at home with a much better work-life balance aligned to her true values.
From this coaching she learnt valuable lessons about herself and devised a different modality of working that allowed her to restore balance to her life.
It's OK to work at an 80% level and be more productive
