Growing up in the inner city, hope wasn’t something I saw much of. What most of us in the neighborhood saw as “hope” was the drug dealer down the street driving a new whip and having cash in his pocket. What I’ve come to realize over the years is the feeling of hope starts with me. Stop waiting for an outside force to provide you with hope. Why? Because hope comes from within.
