Jesus did not leave His church on earth to make disciples through extraordinary people or spectacular moments, but through ordinary believers living faithfully together. Discipleship begins when Christ calls us to follow Him, and it grows as we learn to walk with Him alongside other disciples. This shared life—what Scripture calls fellowship—is not powered by personality or programs, but by the Holy Spirit who unites us to Christ and to one another. In the ordinary rhythms of church life, God uses fellowship to shape us, strengthen us, and draw us toward Christlikeness. As we love one another in these little moments of grace, the risen Christ is at work making disciples through us.
