Saved 2 Be Sent: Fellowship
Rev. RG Foncardas
Romans 6:1-11 and I Corinthians 12:13
“Baptism is not necessary for salvation, but it is necessary for obedience, because Christ, with no ambiguity, commanded that all those who belong to Him, who are part of the new covenant family, and who receive the benefits of his salvation are to be baptized in the Trinitarian formula.”
R. C. Sproul
All who turn to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in faith and repentance enter into two kinds of union.
1. A spiritual union with CHRIST (Romans 6:1-11)
2. A spiritual union with other BELIEVERS (I Corinthians 12:13)
Practical Suggestions:
• Take five minutes each day to thank God that you BELONG to Him and His family.
• Talk to someone in our church this week and share how you turned to Christ for salvation.
