This week is a quick look at Revelation 1 which gives a context for the following letters. 

As a church and as individual believers lets pray "your kingdom come, your will be done". This week we look at the overall view of the church. What are we known for? How does that align with the Bible? 

For our entire time in Joshua we considered the idea that the promises of God are fulfilled by the promises of God. Sometimes we believe the lie that it's OUR doing that will bring His promises to fruition.

We see one final time in Joshua 10 that for Joshua it was all about showing up and letting God do the work. 

We have a sickness that has permeated our lives. At the root that issue is sin but one of the major expressions of that sickness is racism. It has existed almost since the beginning of time and continues to persist in America today. It's easy to see the horrifying damage of systemic racism against people of color and especially against our black brothers and sisters yet somehow every day of our lives we not only ignore it but we silently (or not so silently) advocate for it. 

This short message won't fix that but hopefully will help you take a small step in simply saying "this is a tragic problem that I have a responsibility to recognize and advocate for".
