Discernment is not a skill to be developed in isolation. It is the natural fruit of deepening fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

This prayer establishes the son's life as one of continuous growth rooted in communion, not striving. The teaching presses into what it means to grow daily in attunement to the Spirit, moving from knowing his voice to embodying his will, his rest, and his nature. It holds together the twin realities of who sons already are in Christ and what that identity produces in motion, specifically the discernment to do from the abundance of his being. The declaration builds toward a settled posture: sons are not pursuing, overtaking, or recovering. Christ has done all three, and sons now receive from a position of rest in him.
