FELLOWSHIP WITH THE TRINITY
Sunday 25th September 2022- second service
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;...
Men are made in the presence of God and formed on the earth (Genesis 2:7).
I say these things that you may realize and rise to a place where you begin to fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 1:3).
John 1:1 In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word was fellowshipping with God until it became God. Many of us have known fellowship with men but God wants to elevate us to a place of fellowship with Him.
That is the kind of fellowship that will bring an end to all the predicaments in your life.
Matthew 26:37-38 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
That level of trust doesn't come easily. Many of us are looking for our desires and interests yet God is looking for people with whom He can share His pain with (Isaiah 6:8).
Genesis 18:17-18 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Have you reached that level where God can not hide anything from you? It has nothing to do with being a prophet, teacher, pastor, etc but it has everything to do with a man who has ascended to the place of fellowship.
Read Genesis 18:20-33
Abraham went on His knees and interceeded because he had the heartbeat of God and God saved Lot because of him (Ezekiel 18:23, 33:11, Genesis 19:29).
Matthew 11:28-29 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
"Taking His yoke" means God is not going to force you. His yoke is what helps you to walk and is what will set you from your labor and heavy laden.
What is the yoke?
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
Our fellowship must progress to a level where we become partnered with God because that is where the power of Christianity is yoked. Fellowship is the key to a higher life in God (1 Corinthians 6:17 TPT).

Isaiah 40:28-31 Waiting on God will make you keep in fellowship and listen to Him.
Mark 14:3-6,7 There is something that you can do for Jesus and He announces you. That's what fellowship does.
2 Corinthians 13:14, John 15:4-6
The key to fruitfulness in any area of life is locked up in fellowship.
Take time in your moments of prayer and studying the Word and worship God in Spirit as your heart gets stuck there, He will begin to put His burden upon your heart and share with you what He feels.
