The Pilot also uses a soundbite from NBC/MLB Network Broadcaster Bob Costas to explain the blindspots of agism and racism when it comes to our new breed of Young Black Leadership. And by Young Black Leader, I'm talking LeBron James. And Ri Ri.... But LeBron talk on this segment lol.
23:24 - And we go. A story about a mild lust for a barber who happens to be a woman lol. The Pilot gives us a 8 min painting on what his single life looks like. Also, the new streaming app Thriller is giving out one year $2,000 contracts with an extra $2,000 in equity to Black Content Creators. Sounds good but the only two people with contracts so far is a boxer who is signed to Team Mayweather with 7.1 million Tik Tok followers, and a former credited songwriter who played for Virginia college Old Dominion when they were ranked top ten n the country. Is this false advertising and hope young content creators? Or just great promotion by Thriller dangling the carrot of "ownership" to Black America because you know we want to own everything lol.
39:26 - SALUTE to Councilman Frank Educational Gilmore becoming the happy ending version to POWER lol. If you haven't heard of this man, go to his instagram, or listen to the "For The Stress Podcast" for all your local Jersey City news, thoughts, and music conversations (They're on apple podcasts and spotify). This is a good segment for young politicians who want to know how to become "likable" in today's political climate.
48:51 - The Queen of Gossip Radio, Wendy Williams, birthed a nation of female podcasters who does the their take on Wendy Williams gossip style poorly. Meanwhile, Dr. Dre and Xzibit are going through their divorce healing process and when you're a millionaire, you can heal in style. You can sell t-shirts and make money lol. Don't believe me, Google "Dr. Dre X and N.W.D. shirts." But "healing" has also birthed the "Black Man Heal" podcast which is a poorly presented podcast by Black Male Hosts. They never stay on topic, and the one who always want to play therapist, is usually the one that needs therapy. If this is a Black Man's angle to reach women, you're better off just lying. It worked for us before. lol
