Reda is a journalist specialising in culture and fashion, and she works for Elle Lituania. I got to know her thanks to a reel on Instagram. She was looking to discover new artists. We got in touch, had a chat, and I invited her onto my podcast.

In this episode, she talks to us about life in Lithuania and shares her views on the changing role of women in society, as well as the impact of long periods of study on the country’s demographic trends. A fascinating topic!

I met Manon through an online course designed to help us develop our artistic careers. I immediately loved her very colourful and gentle style. I’m a huge fan of her work!

Mel is franco Lebanese. She was borns and raised in France, and her parent are Lebaneses. After studying communication her friends suggested it to go in Australia. She refused but her mother pushed her. So she ended going there . She planned to stay there for 6 months and return to France. But I didn’t go as planned. 8 years later she is still there, she changes her job. Now she helps women regain control of their lives and her friends return after 6 months in France. In this episode Mel shares with us the influence of relatively conservative lebenase bringing, the influence of Australia and distance from her family on her life as a woman.

For most people, Colombia rhymes with Pablo Escobar and drug trafficking. I even had the image of a dangerous country even though I didn't know it!

When I arrived in Australia, I had the chance to meet Pedro and Andrea, 2 Colombians. Over time, we became friends. What struck me was their kindness, their simplicity and their big hearts.

Today, Andrea tells us about her childhood in Medellin, the impact of drug trafficking on her life but also the beauties of her country Colombia and her new life in Australia.

Santa was born in Latvia, a country in Eastern Europe. She was nine years old when the Soviet Union collapsed. This major event changed her life and the face of the world. Before embarking on a trip, introductions are in order!

In this episode, I'll introduce myself and share key moments in my life that have shaped the woman I am today.

I started with several observations:

• Travel has become a checklist
• We no longer take the time to connect with others
• Since the advent of social media, we've never been so alone, even though we feel connected to the entire world

I want to challenge all of this.

Two years ago, I went to Bali.

Spoiler alert: I didn't really like it. It's too touristy for my taste.

One of my favorite moments was the sunrise over Mount Batur. It was really amazing! I was able to book this activity online through a specialized website.

But there was one activity that really bothered me: a tour of the island's Instagrammable spots! What the hell is that?!

Where have the encounters gone? The human connections?

Traveling isn't just about standing in line to take a picture of some Instagrammable spot that everyone else has already done.

I find this view sad and reductive, but unfortunately, it reflects the world we live in. Through this podcast, I'd like to offer a counterpoint to all of that: to take the time to build connections, to discover the wonders of this world.
