Leading contemporary art specialist and journalist Australian Julie Ewington is in New Zealand to run an introductory class on feminist artist Cindy Sherman. City Gallery in Wellington has an exhibition of Sherman’s work documenting gender, social conditioning, narcissism and celebrity culture, opening next month.
