Abstract: This work provides an extensive examination of feminist sociological theories, focusing on how gender inequality is structured and experienced across macro and micro levels of society. It traces the historical development of feminist thought, from early critiques of androcentric culture to contemporary frameworks that challenge objectified knowledge. Central to the discussion are standpoint theories that highlight the "relations of ruling" and the unique "bifurcated consciousness" of women navigating domestic and public spheres. The text further explores intersectionality, particularly through Black feminist thought, to illustrate how race, class, and gender create interlocking systems of oppression and resistance. Additionally, it introduces the sociology of emotions, detailing how "emotional labor" is commodified and regulated within the modern information economy. By integrating perspectives on masculinity and activist knowledge, the document offers a robust analysis of systemic power and the pursuit of social equality.
