On average, women represent 43 percent of the world's agricultural labour force according to the U.N Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). These hard-working women produce more than half of the world's food, despite being less than half of the labour force.

You cannot define success in agriculture without women. These days when you browse through the internet on farming and agriculture, you will notice that the majority of successful farmers and upcoming farmers are female.
