Femme Party is a novel about a political and technological revolution that starts at the local level. It shows what could happen if some wealthy people came together and decided to invest in green infrastructure within a few strategic communities in western Pennsylvania. In this case the wealthy people are Hollywood celebrities who mix entertainment with eco-activism. This book is full of innovative technology ideas designed to make people think about how much better technology could be incorporated into our society. Follow along as female celebrities form a technology company and run for political office in a small rural county. Their initiatives become a model for other rural counties around the globe as the co-founder of the technology company runs for mayor of Pittsburgh. The newly elected mayor of Pittsburgh works to show how a medium sized city can acquire its own cable network and other infrastructure to create a totally green city. Pittsburgh becomes the first to be governed by direct democracy and uses the free market to become energy independent.
