Fermented Sciences Raises $25M in Series B Funding
Fermented Sciences, a Ventura, CA-based maker of an organic hard kombucha brand, called Flying Embers, closed a $25m Series B funding round.
The round was co-led by the Ecosystem Integrity Fund and PowerPlant Ventures with participation from Blueberry Ventures and Monogram Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand its national presence and meet demand for its hard kombucha, and create additional alcohol beverage lines.
Over 70 distributors across 30 states have signed on for distribution deals with the company.
