In season 7 episode 7, Fernanda Martinez shares her experience moving from Mexico City to the US and how her background in corporations and communications shaped her shift into the art world. From simple beginnings at art markets, Fernanda's murals now grace the Bay Area and her 2025 residency at Bay City Emeryville with Rotten City Cultural District gave her the chance to showcase her creation process in real time as patrons browsed the gallery. Her art draws inspiration from the vibrant colors of Mexico City as well as botanicals and architecture.
